Sheila 'Grams' Bennett is played by Jasmine Guy on The Vampire Diaries. Grams is the nickname Bonnie Bennett (Katerina Graham) uses for her grandmother, who turns out to be a descendant of a long line of women suspected of being witches. Grams is also a witch. She once protested against the war in Vietnam in 1969 pulling a large audience including Stefan Salvatore. She immediately knew that Stefan was a vampire.

In 2010 she preformed a spell to open the Church doors containing the vampires. After opening the door with a spell that let people in but kept Vampires from leaving, she had to open it to set Stefan free. The spell weakened Sheila and she died in bed later that night.
Grams was an extremely powerful witch. She subdued Damon with a stare when he threatened her.
